Alex is an expert rug dealer with a particular focus on Mongolian, Oriental Tibetan, and Chinese rugs. He has a special affinity for rugs from the early 20th century and earlier periods. Alex is responsible for managing the store in Bangalow and is eager to assist customers in finding the rugs they desire.
In Alex's spare time, you may find him doing Crossfit, exploring the world of whiskey, collecting snuff bottles and playing with his 5 kids.
Following in the footsteps of my father, Milton, i've grown a deep passion for tribal rugs and a love for travel and surfing. My journey has taken me to far-flung corners of the globe in pursuit of these magnificent woven art pieces, local foods and waves.
My life's mission is not just to collect rugs but to build lasting relationships with artisans and enthusiasts alike. I firmly believe that the true beauty of these rugs lies not only in their intricate designs but in the stories and cultures they carry.

Milton: Early ‘70’s in my early 20’s, thought I’d simply buy myself a Persian Rug as I was in Persia enroute New York Sydney. End of story.

In Anne's world, the roles of a loving mother and a rug industry expert are seamlessly woven together. Anne is a lover of Turkoman Carpets, in particluar, those made in the early 20th Century. She hasn't moved her loungeroom Turkoman rug for over 20 years.
