We only clean traditional hand-made rugs only. Sorry, no Jute, no backing.
Persian, Moroccan, Turkish, Afghan, Indian, Chinese, Kelims, Silk Rugs, traditional Tribal Trappings, Navajo Rugs and Ayamara Weavings etc.
Base Rate for our standard full immersion total wash:
- $40 per square meter
- $50 per square meter for silk rugs and particular anti-bacterial, germicidal and de-odourizing treatments (dog & cat urine etc).
Turn around time is 1 week. Storage fees apply 14 days after wash is completed and ready to collect.
What's behind our expert Rug Wash?
We have an EPA-registered bacteriacide, virucide, tuberculocide and fungicide that contains no harmful chemicals, in fact a blend of plant extracts and essential oils. ie; Thyme oil etc.
Plus powerful bacteriacides:
- gram-positive bacteria (eg Bacillus Subtillus, Staphyloccus Aureus)
- gram-negative bacteria (eg Escherichia Coli, Pseudomonas Aaeroginosa)
- Salmonelle Choleraesuis
- Moulds and Yeasts (eg Aspergillius Niger)
- Viruses (eg Newcastle Disease Virus). As well as a quaternary disinfectant for quick effective germicidal action.
- Mould, mildew and fungus.
