Handwoven in western Persia using the famously hard-wearing local wool, the Hamadan Runner Rug is a durable village weaving with deep roots and honest charm. The repetitive, patterns undulate with the subtle tonal shifts. There are many Hamadan runners, each unique to its maker. This is probably from the village of Hosseinabad.
