CHALLU is a continuation of one of the oldest textile traditions in the world. The wool is hand-spun from high-altitude sheep in Ghazni Province, then hand-washed, hand-clipped, and hand-knotted onto traditional looms by weaving families in Pakistan using techniques passed down through generations, not a modern label borrowing the aesthetic.
This piece is left undyed, showing the true colour of the wool as it came off the sheep. Nothing manufactured, nothing added after the fact.
Made to be used, walked on, washed, and passed down.
“Use it. Flip it. Wash it. Take it on a picnic. The most durable rug you’ll ever own.” — Milton Cater
