This Ravar Kerman Rug has an endless sea of BOTEH (also known as paisley) which originates in Persia.
From one of the most revered weaving centres of Persia, KERMAN. The palette is refined, colours unfolding in gentle harmony across a field alive with repeating boteh. Almond seeds with a baby almond inside, like a mother goddess version of paisley.
Dense, velvety pile gives it that unmistakable Kerman handle, supple, weighty, and deeply luxurious underfoot. A garden imagined in wool, ordered yet full of life. A woven paradise of intellect and grace.
Material: Sheep wool
Dyes: Natural
Age: Mid 20th Century

Origin: Ravar Kerman, Central Persia.
